CELEBRITY RADIO/TV PRESENTER CJ MAMA


Crystal Jane Cosmas, Celebrity Radio/TV Presenter and former manager of Family love Fm  Umuahia, currently the CEO of FRESH DREAMS MEDIA who is popularly known as CJ Mama  is a writer, a poet, a musician, a public speaker and an ordained Bishop of the air waves.
The Niger Delta Born broadcaster started out her life as a front desk receptionist with image & Slogans Consultant in Owerri, Nigeria. Right there as a receptionist, one of the broadcasters of that time, late Chief Chike Egbuna, popularly known as “Mr. Soul” was the first to notice her then, and he gave her the first audition of her life. This opportunity by “Mr. Soul gave her the strength and confidence to believe in her talent that was noticed back in her secondary School days at Daughters of Divine Love, Abakpa Nike Enugu, through the years that followed she got full time into journalism “the print media” she became the editor of life on the Family Magazine, sub editor for Snoopers Magazine, a soft sell and sub-editor for punch news papers alongside Mr. Felix Ofou. Her Career as a print journalist took another turn when she worked with Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo of Think LTD, who is presently the senior special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on technical matters and SURE-P Secretary who influenced her life largely. Working with Think LTD brought her in contact with former head of state, General Yakubu Gowon, and late Senator Melford Obiene Okilo, two times Governor of the old Rivers state. This man Melford obiene Okilo was to have the greatest influence over her life as she worked closely with him, he introduced her to the university of Science and philosophy, Virginia where she was to learn the true philosophy of life “Living Philosophy” as he called it. This was the turning point in her whole life, a defining period that shaped and molded her completely. She was also to head the college of Science and Philosophy here in Nigeria, the affiliate of university of Science and philosophy whose founders were Walter and Lao Russell.         
This lady popularly called C.J Mama has had her own share of life troubles and challenges and in that, she found God and God also through those troubles found her, shaped her, helped her and celebrated her. Through the help of God, in the past years, she has won several awards national and international to mention but few.
Three times consecutive winner of the Niger Delta Advancement Awards 2007, 2008, 2009. That saw her to the champion planet and she was banned from contesting till 3 years elapses,

·         Doctorate Degree in philosophy from Tate Memorial Institute Philadelphia USA.

·         Abia State College of Education Award of Associate of College of Education (Technical) Arochukwu.

She’s made the front pages of magazines, speaks professionally in churches and schools. She is also the founder of an N.G.O called “Fresh Dreams Media Club” formerly known as “The Seven &Eight Club”, designed for people to get a strong grip on their lives. She is the matron of many societies and groups, she is said to have had the greatest and biggest influence on music artistes in the Niger Delta because of the promotion she gives their music on air. She is believed to be the most decorated on air personality, presently with pacesetter 103.5fm and MCL TV umuahia.
